Description
Perched atop its three-legged base, the shade on the Nelson Pear Tripod Lamp (1952) looks like a delicate origami sculpture. But this translucent cover, made via a technique Nelson pioneered for his Bubble Lamp (1952), is an engineering marvel that was inspired by the process the Navy used to mothball ships. The Pear Tripod Table Lamp is produced in collaboration with the George Nelson Foundation. Bulb (not included): LED, CFL, or incandescent; E26 base; 150W. UL Listed.
